Classic Colombia Itinerary

Day 01

Bogota

Arrive in Bogota, El Dorado airport and driven by private transfer to your hotel for your first taste of Colombia

 

 

Day 02

Bogota – Breakfast included

An interesting half day city tour exploring the historic zone of La Candalaria, the birth place of Bogota. The tour will be led by a knowledgeable bi-lingual local private guide.

 

 

Day 03

Bogota & Zipaquira – Breakfast included

Visit the fascinating Salt Cathedral, built 200 metres below ground in the tunnels of an old salt mine. A great day trip.

 

 

Day 04

Bogota to Armenia – Breakfast included

A morning flight to Armenia, the heart of the Coffee Region. In the afternoon you have the option to strap in for an exciting Canopy Tour.

 

 

Day 05

Armenia – Breakfast included

An enjoyable, interesting and very aromatic tour into the production of the finest coffee in the world. Explore the wonderful finca in the very capable hands of a local tour guide.

 

 

Day 06

Armenia – Breakfast included

A day at leisure. Relax by the pool surrounded by humming birds or walk freely around the grounds of the hacienda where you will encounter birds, bees, orchids and the friendly workers.

 

 

Day 07

Armenia – Breakfast included

Full day tour of Filandia, Valle Cocora and Salento. This tour will take you from the far northeast of Quindío to the beautiful Valle Cocora where the magnificent Wax palm grows, in one of its few natural habitats, then onto the charming Salento, the first settlement in Quindío of the modern era.

 

 

Day 08

Armenia to Cartagena – Breakfast included

Private transfer to the airport in the morning to catch a flight Cartagena. Private transfer to your hotel. The afternoon is at your leisure and provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy a cocktail on the city walls and watch the sunset go down over the Caribbean.

 

 

Day 09

Cartagena – Breakfast included

Morning guided city tour. Walk the streets of this enchanting and architecturally beautiful Caribbean colonial city.

 

 

Day 10

Cartagena – Breakfast included

Full day at leisure. Take the day at your own pace. Sample the restaurants and drink coffee in the plazas.

 

 

Day 11

Cartagena – Santa Marta – Breakfast included

Private transfer by road to Santa Marta. The road travels along Colombia’s Caribbean coastline. Enjoy the views and sites along the way.

 

 

Day 12

Santa Marta & Parque Tayrona – Breakfast included

This incredible national park is one of the many highlights on this tour and home to a plethora of incredible fauna and flora. Enjoy the jungle beaches, scenery and Caribbean sea.

 

 

Day 13

Santa Marta – Breakfast included

Full day at leisure. Relax in the comfort of your hotel or explore the town at your own pace.

 

 

Day 14

Cartagena to Bogota – Breakfast included
