Cali-style salsa involves emphasized leg movements performed at lighting speeds. The dancers move with unparalleled grace and contagious energy that excites the rhythm in everybody.This happy go lucky city, is blessed with beautiful surroundings from imposing cliffs to endless plains and is located in the south west region of Colombia, in a department called Valle del Cauca.
Cali is the third largest city in Colombia and was founded by Sebastion de Belalcazar in 1536. The city was vital during the colonial era and the sugar cane and cotton industries.Today its importance lies in its coffee and vineyard agricultures and its link to Buenaventura which is Colombia’s largest port on its west coast.
