Mention the Coffee Region, or Zona Cafetera, and immediately several images come to mind: the delicious aroma of Colombian coffee; a rugged peasant farmer (arriero), crossing the mountains with his mules; the smiles of coffee pickers who get ready before dawn to work in the fertile coffee fields and hacienda. They are icons of the drive and determination of the people from this region, always willing and ready to welcome visitors into their homes.

The Coffee Triangle is comprised of the compartments of Quindio, Risaralda and Calda and is located in the central mountain range, west of Bogota. Perfect for relaxation, ecotourism and adventure, the area is quite frankly stunning as well as producing the best coffee in the world.
