Medellin is a leader in art, fashion, entertainment, finance and politics, and packs a punch of a city twice its size. Its turbulent history has now been replaced by a cultural hotspot that has a thriving textile and fashion industry and is one of the safest cities in all of Latin America.

The city has a very comfortable year round climate that hovers between 20-25 degrees Celsius and is known as ‘La Ciudad de la Eternal Primavera’ – The City of Eternal Spring.

Medellin lies in a narrow valley and is surrounded by jagged peaks of the Andean Central Mountain range that make a remarkable backdrop to the high-rise apartments and buildings. Medellin is a graceful metropolis with a vocation for commerce and has inherited a legacy handed down by rustic peasants, miners and cattle ranchers that worked the coffee plantations and cultivated orchids, giving the city the product of their labour.
